To the Stay At Home Moms- Leave the House Saved My Life!

Since my kids were little, I left the house daily as a stay at home mom. I never had anywhere to go though, and it helped my mental health!

Since my kids were babies, I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mother. I wanted to make this my career. I found a lot of joy and purpose doing this job. But especially as my kids were babies, the day felt so long. My husband got home late, and my family all had full time jobs. I didn't know a lot of other moms at this point, and I needed to GET THE HECK OUT OF MY HOUSE. The problem was, I had nowhere to go. So I would put the baby, or babies, or toddlers in the car. I strapped them in and drive. I got myself a nice big coffee. Real big. I have them a little donut or snack, and drove. I drove through beautiful neighborhoods. I drove through hills, and backroads. I'd find a park I've never seen. I'd find a land far away, but not too far. Sometimes, I'd take off to the next town.

You just want to keep the house clean, raise functional kids, and still have a little left in the tank to be a real person as well.

I'm here for you.
